Darlene K.Tuttle Foundation is a community based organisation initiated by Darlene K.Tuttle from U.S.A to providing clean water to Uganda’s underprivileged women, Girls and their families, after being sensitized by Mrs. Darlene K.Tuttle from U.S.A in collaboration with M.s . Ampumuza Evalyne from Rukungiri District in Uganda. Noting with a concern that most of the areas / parts of Uganda like areas surrounding queen Elizabeth National park, Bwindi impenetrable forest, Mgahinga national park and many areas that are lacking clean water for domestic use yet water is life worldwide.

To empower women and girls through skills like Handcrafts, Horticulture, Beekeeping and Industrialization that can generate income into their families.
To support underprivileged children with education as it is the most powerful catalyst for individual empowerment, economic progress and social equity.
To support underprivileged women, girls and their families with health services as better future starts with healthy people, construction of clinics and maternity wards as it is a core pillar of physical well-being, longevity and quality of life.
We provide minor medical support and clean water to underprivileged women and their families. Our program covers minor clinical support, and deworming for 200+ children yearly, children immunization and safe water construction to stop waterborne diseases.

Most underprivileged women and younger Girls in rural areas in Uganda rely heavily on subsistence farming but lack seeds, training, and water for irrigation. This leads to low output and hence hunger, malnutrition, and school dropouts among children increases every year.
