Empowering Communities, Initiating Sustainable Change

Darlene K.Tuttle Foundation is a community based organisation initiated by Darlene K.Tuttle from U.S.A to providing clean water to Uganda’s underprivileged women, Girls and their families, after being sensitized by Mrs. Darlene K.Tuttle from U.S.A in collaboration with M.s . Ampumuza Evalyne from Rukungiri District in Uganda. Noting with a concern that most of the areas / parts of Uganda like areas surrounding queen Elizabeth National park, Bwindi impenetrable forest, Mgahinga national park and many areas that are lacking clean water for domestic use yet water is life worldwide.

Darlene K Tuttle Foundation Empowering Rural Women Farmers

Most underprivileged women and younger Girls in rural areas in Uganda rely heavily on subsistence farming but lack seeds, training and water for irrigation. This leads to low output and hence hunger, malnutrition, and school dropouts among children increases every year.
